Grasses.

I wanted to get some photos of grass seed heads against the sky, easy you'd think, but with a digital camera without a viewfinder it's actually rather difficult.
With a bright sunny day and looking into the sky, I couldn't see a thing on the screen, so it's amazing that I got anything suitable at all!

I know just what you mean!! I took some photos recently and had no idea if I had even got the image in the right place.
I LOVE grass - we used to do a really good unit of work in primary classes on seed dispersal, grass seeds and their gorgeous designs, etc. And I did an assignment for my textile diploma based on local grasses. They are so beautiful. As are your pictures. Will you use them for designing?

I'm pleased that you like the photos Mary, especially as you are so familiar with grasses.

Thanks Mags, actually I wasn't quite flat to the ground, as the grasses were on an embankment at the edge of a road, so I only had to kneel right down and aim for the sky.
