This swan was on the river right in the city a couple of days ago. What a handsome bird!
This photo I took last year in England. It is interesting that the 2 swans are totally opposite in colouring. I think that the beaks are a different shape too now that I compare the two.

I am always taken by surprise when I see a white swan. Other animals don't faze me, just the swans. No matter where I am, I expect them to be black.
The white ones do look a bit sort of naked!
Did you know thta all the white one sin the uK belong to the Queen? The black ones are around here but nowhere near as many as the white.
